Do you speak English?
Yes. We design, quote, write the contract and run the site in English, and we deal with the French tradespeople on your behalf. Roughly one in ten second homes in the Dordogne belongs to a British owner, and several thousand British residents live in the department: an English-speaking single point of contact is the main thing they ask for.
Where do you work?
Within about 80 km of Brive-la-Gaillarde: the whole of the Corrèze, the Périgord (Terrasson, Montignac, Sarlat, Périgueux) and the north of the Lot (Souillac, Martel, Gramat, Saint-Céré, Gourdon, Cahors, Figeac). Every town has its own page with the real driving time and distance from our studio.
Who makes the kitchens?
Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer, in Germany. Cabinets are dowelled and glued, delivered fully assembled with doors and drawers already fitted, and tested for fifteen years of use. They carry a 10-year OXIA guarantee on the furniture, backed by our manufacturer’s ten-year commitment to us, running from the day the kitchen is delivered and subject to correct installation and care; appliances, sink and tap carry their own makers’ guarantees, and the French statutory guarantees apply on top. You will see the technical data sheet at our showroom, on your quotation and on every unit delivered.
How do you price a kitchen?
On the plan, after the first appointment. We measure, we draw, then we cost the written specification item by item: units, worktop, delivery, fitting and the VAT rate each appear on their own line, so you can see what you are paying for and take the quotation home to compare in your own time. No crossed-out prices, no “VAT paid for you”, no percentage off, and no price that expires at midnight.
